Common questions before hiring
What is the real range of LoRa sensors?
Indoors they penetrate several walls and floors; in open field they reach several kilometers. One well-placed gateway usually covers an entire building — we measure real coverage during the site survey.
What happens during a power or internet outage?
Sensors run on their own batteries, so they keep detecting. The gateway can be backed by a UPS and cellular failover so alerts keep going out even with no power or landline internet.
How often do batteries need replacing?
Every 3 to 5 years depending on the sensor and reporting frequency. The platform itself warns when a battery runs low, so replacement is scheduled — you never find out through a failure.
Does it integrate with my existing alarm or cameras?
Yes. The LoRa network can trigger sirens, notify your monitoring center or integrate with your existing video surveillance and platforms.
